Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Business Details: Yorkshire Paint Stripping (“we” or “us”) is a sole trader business operated from 31 Alexandra Road, Hull, HU5 2NS. We serve customers throughout the UK, providing professional paint stripping services for wood, metal, and other items. All work is carried out in-house at our Hull workshop by our own staff (we do not subcontract any portion of the process). By engaging our services (including sending items to us for stripping or requesting our collection service), you (“the customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms: These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Yorkshire Paint Stripping. Proceeding with an order (either by accepting a quote, sending an item to us, or scheduling a collection) indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you have any questions or need clarification on any term, please contact us before work begins.

2. Services Offered and Process

Scope of Services: We specialize in removing paint, varnish, and other finishes from doors, furniture, radiators, architectural hardware, and similar items. We use a caustic dip tank process for oil-based paints and durable old finishes, and non-caustic stripping methods for water-based paints, acrylic or polyurethane finishes, and other delicate coatings. This combination ensures we choose the safest and most effective method for each item’s finish.

The Stripping Process: In our caustic tank process, items are soaked in a warm solution of sodium hydroxide (“caustic soda”) and then rinsed with hot water to strip away oil-based paints and neutralize the chemicals . This method efficiently removes multiple layers of oil-based or lead-based paint. However, modern water-based or acrylic paints and polyurethane varnishes are not effectively removed by caustic dipping and may require alternative techniques . For such finishes, or very delicate materials, we perform non-caustic stripping – this may involve hand stripping with specialized solvent-based strippers or other gentle methods to ensure the best result without damaging the substrate . We will use our expertise to select the appropriate process based on the information available, but final decisions on method will be at our discretion for the safety of the item.

In-House Work: All stripping work is done on our premises by our trained team. We do not send your items to third parties for processing, ensuring we maintain full control over quality and care. (Note: We do not offer on-site paint stripping at the customer’s location; all items must be brought to our workshop or handled via our collection/delivery service.)

Additional Services: Our service typically returns your item in a stripped state (wood items will be fully stripped of paint/varnish and then rinsed/neutralized). We do not normally perform finishing (such as sanding, waxing, repainting, or varnishing) as part of the standard service unless specifically agreed. If you require additional finishing services, this must be discussed and quoted separately. We can provide basic sanding or neutralizing advice upon request, but any further restoration (staining, polishing, etc.) is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing. We also reserve the right to refuse to strip certain items if we believe the material is unsuitable or the process could cause irreparable damage (we would advise you in such cases).

3. Customer Responsibilities (Preparation of Items)

To ensure a smooth process and avoid avoidable damage, the customer has the following responsibilities before handing over items to us (either via drop-off or collection):

  • Remove Hardware and Fittings: You must remove all removable fittings from your doors/furniture before stripping. This includes (but is not limited to) door knobs, handles, locks, latches, hinges (if possible), letterboxes, knockers, hooks, mirror glass, and any other attached hardware or decorative pieces . Small metal items like screws, nails, and tacks should also be taken out. Any hardware or glass left on the item is at the customer’s own risk – we will not be liable for any loss or damage to these components during the process . For example, glass panels or mirrors should be removed; if left in place, they could crack, become cloudy, or be otherwise damaged by the chemicals or handling, and we accept no responsibility for that damage . Likewise, door furniture (handles, letter plates, etc.) left attached may discolour or get lost or broken; their safety cannot be guaranteed in the tank . It is strongly recommended that you strip the item down to the bare wood/metal object before we collect it.
  • Suitable Materials Only: Ensure that the items submitted for stripping are made of materials that can withstand the process. Only solid wood and solid metal items are fully suitable for caustic tank stripping. Items made of or containing chipboard, MDF, hardboard, fiberboard, or certain thin plywood/laminate/veneer construction are generally not suitable, as they can absorb water or chemicals and may warp, delaminate, or fall apart during or after the process . If you are unsure of an item’s composition, please ask us in advance. We rely on the customer to disclose if an item is veneered or has composite wood parts – while we will advise if we suspect such materials, it may not be possible to identify hidden veneers or laminates under paint . The customer accepts final responsibility for any damage to items with unsuitable materials; for instance, veneered surfaces might lift or blister and glued joints may weaken. We can attempt non-caustic stripping on delicate wood veneers at your request, but this is strictly at your risk and no guarantee of outcome or integrity is given.
  • Inform Us of Special Features: If an item is particularly valuable, antique, or fragile, or if it has any historical importance or sentimental value, you must inform us at the time of booking . This will allow us to consider alternative, more gentle stripping methods or even recommend not stripping if the risk is too high. If you do not disclose this and proceed, we will handle the item with standard care but cannot be responsible if the customer is unhappy with the outcome on a high-value piece. In cases where items are extremely valuable or fragile, we may decline to perform the caustic dip and suggest hand stripping or refer you to a conservation specialist.
  • Labeling & Identification: If you send multiple similar items (e.g. several doors or shutters), it is the customer’s responsibility to label or mark them for identification. We recommend discreetly marking doors (e.g., on the top or hinge edge) and their corresponding frames so you know where to re-hang them . We will not be liable for any mix-ups of similar items if they were not clearly labeled by the customer.
  • Accessibility for Collection: If you are using our collection service, you must ensure the items are readily accessible at the agreed pickup time. For safety reasons, we require that large items (like doors) be brought to ground floor level for collection unless otherwise agreed in advance (our drivers cannot remove items from lofts, high floors, or difficult access areas without prior arrangement) . Items should be removed from door frames or disassembled if needed, prior to our arrival. If an item is not prepared or accessible when our driver arrives, we reserve the right to refuse collection or to charge an additional fee for any extra time or effort required (such as dismantling or carrying from upper floors).
  • Transit Preparation (if shipping): For customers outside our local area who ship items to us, please package items securely to withstand transport. Use appropriate padding to protect any delicate parts. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs in transit to us; any such claims should be made with your courier. We will likewise carefully pack items for return shipping, but once dispatched, the item is in the care of the carrier and transit is at the customer’s risk .

By fulfilling these preparation responsibilities, you help ensure the best possible result and reduce the risk of avoidable damage. Failure to follow the above guidelines may result in suboptimal results or damage for which we cannot accept liability (see Section 5 on Risk and Liability).

4. Collection and Delivery Service

We offer a collection and delivery service for your convenience, subject to scheduling and location:

  • Coverage and Fees: Collection and return delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK. For local areas (Hull and surrounding regions), we may offer this service either free of charge or for a nominal fee – please inquire for specifics. For long-distance customers, we can arrange courier transport or dedicated collection by our team; any additional cost for long-distance logistics will be made clear in advance. All collection/delivery fees, if applicable, will be agreed upon when booking the service.
  • Scheduling: We will agree on a date and approximate time window for collection and for return delivery. While we strive to be punctual, these times are estimates and not guaranteed. Unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather, etc.) can cause delays – we will communicate with you and reschedule as needed. We are not liable for any inconvenience or cost due to delayed pickup or delivery times.
  • Customer Presence: Please ensure someone is present at the collection address at the agreed time, or that items are left in a safe, accessible place as arranged. Similarly, someone should be available to receive the item upon delivery/return. If no one is available and no prior arrangement to leave the item has been made, our driver/courier may not be able to complete the pickup or drop-off, and re-delivery or re-collection charges may apply.
  • Transit Risk: We will take reasonable care in handling and transporting your items. Our vehicles are equipped to secure doors and furniture during transit. However, all items transported are still at the customer’s own risk for any damage or loss during transit . We strongly recommend that you have appropriate insurance for items in transit, especially for high-value pieces. If we use a third-party courier, the standard insurance of that courier will apply (we can help facilitate any claim for transit damage, but we do not assume liability beyond the carrier’s coverage). We cannot entertain claims for damage incurred during transportation, unless it can be shown that we acted with gross negligence in packaging or handling .
  • On-Site Damage: Our collection team will exercise due care when removing items from your property. Please ensure the pathway is clear and free of hazards. We are not responsible for incidental damage to property (e.g., scuffed paint on walls, scraped floor) that might occur during the moving of large items, unless caused by our team’s reckless negligence. By requesting collection, you acknowledge that large, heavy items can be awkward to maneuver and you accept the minor risk of such incidental contact.
  • Delivery Inspection: Upon return delivery, we request that you inspect the stripped items in the presence of our driver if possible. Any immediately noticeable issues (e.g., item not fully stripped as expected) should be pointed out at that time. While this does not waive our disclaimers (see Section 5), it helps ensure transparency and that you are satisfied with the service performed.
  • Uncollected Items: After we have completed the stripping work, we will arrange with you for return or collection of your items. It is important that you collect your items or accept delivery in a timely manner. If an item remains uncollected or if delivery is not accepted within 60 days after we notify you of completion, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage fees for holding your item beyond that period. Storage fees will be agreed based on the size/space required (to be paid before release of the item). If an item is still uncollected 90 days after completion (and no alternative arrangement has been made in writing), the item may be considered abandoned. At that point, we reserve the right to dispose of or retain the item at our discretion to recover our costs, in accordance with applicable laws. We will make multiple attempts to contact you (using the contact information provided) before taking this step.

5. Risk, Liability, and Disclaimers

Inherent Risks: Paint stripping (especially dip-tank caustic stripping) is a process that, while effective, carries inherent risks to the items being treated. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept that there is some risk of damage or unforeseen outcomes. We will take every reasonable care with your goods; however, all items are accepted and processed entirely at the customer’s own risk with regard to any type of damage, loss, or change to the item that may occur during handling, chemical treatment, or in transit . This applies to the entire duration the item is in our custody, as well as to transportation.

We provide the following specific disclaimers and limitations on our liability:

  1. Finish Removal Limitations: We cannot guarantee the removal of 100% of paint, varnish, or other finishes from any item . Some coatings are exceptionally stubborn or may have been absorbed into the wood grain or material. Water-based paints, acrylic paints, and polyurethane or epoxy finishes in particular often cannot be fully removed by the caustic dip process . These modern coatings resist chemical stripping . While we will attempt additional hand stripping or use solvents where feasible, there may remain remnants of such finishes, especially in wood pores, intricate carvings, or crevices. Stains, dyes, and wood tannin discoloration may also not come out and can still be visible after stripping . We do not guarantee removal of deep stains or paint lodged in detailed corners or carvings . Customers should expect to do some sanding or cleaning after our stripping to achieve a completely clean surface, or arrange for additional services from us (if available) at extra cost.
  2. No Surface Finishing Guarantee: Because we do not normally refinish items after stripping, the item you get back will be in a raw state. The appearance (color, texture) of stripped wood can vary. We cannot guarantee any particular color or appearance of the wood/metal after stripping – for example, some woods (like oak, mahogany or walnut) tend to darken after caustic dipping . There may also be visible marks or variations that were hidden by paint (e.g., wood grain differences, previous repairs, scorch marks from prior paint removal attempts , wood fillers that won’t come out, etc.). The stripping process can reveal hidden defects or patch-ups done under the paint which are not our responsibility to fix . We will not be held responsible if the customer is unhappy with the bare appearance of the wood or metal once paint is removed . (We remind customers that older pieces often need sanding and finishing after stripping to look their best.)
  3. Fragile Material and Joint Risks: Wood is an organic, porous material, and old furniture/doors often have weak points. While every effort is made to prevent damage, there is a small risk that wood components may warp, shrink, crack, or joints may open during or after the stripping process . This outcome is uncommon but can happen, especially if the item was already delicate or exposed to water during stripping and subsequent drying. We cannot guarantee that warping or splitting will not occur. Similarly, glued joints (for example, on chairs or frame panels) might loosen because the caustic solution can dissolve animal glues – these can be re-glued by the customer afterward, but are not our responsibility. We exclude liability for any wood movement (shrinkage, swelling, warping) or joint loosening that occurs as a result of the stripping and drying process, as this is an inherent risk with stripping wetting/drying wood.
  4. Laminates, Veneers and Composites: As noted in Section 3, if your item contains laminated layers, veneers, plywood, particle board or other composite materials, these are prone to damage. Soaking can adversely affect laminated or veneered materials, causing separation or blistering . We may not be able to tell an item is veneer over softwood (for example) until after stripping has started. We will use non-caustic methods on known veneers if you request, but cannot guarantee safety. The customer assumes all risk for any delamination, blistering, bubbling, or disintegration of veneer/laminate materials during or after stripping . We will not be liable for replacing or repairing veneer that lifts or is lost.
  5. Glass and Glazing: We will strip doors or furniture with glass panels or mirrors only on the condition that it is at the customer’s risk . While our tank process itself does not usually harm glass, there are many associated risks: glass can develop hairline cracks due to temperature changes; old or delicate glass (like antique leaded stained glass) might fracture or the caustic can seep behind lead came; any glass with plastic lead-look strips or film will likely have that decoration destroyed by the caustic . Putty holding glass may soften or fall out . We strongly recommend you remove all glass before stripping. If you insist on leaving glass in, we will not be responsible for any breakage, etching, clouding, or damage to the glass or for the cost of reglazing . This also applies to mirrors or glass on furniture like cabinets – mirror silvering can be damaged by stripper fumes or water. Any glass left in an item is entirely at your own risk .
  6. Door Hardware and Other Attachments: Any other attachments left on the item (hinges, handles, locks, metal trim, upholstery tacks, etc.) are also at your own risk during stripping. The chemicals can ruin finishes on ironmongery (e.g., brass hardware may discolour). Small pieces can get lost in the tank or during handling. We are not liable for any loss, corrosion, or damage to door furniture or fittings left on the item . (We will of course return any pieces we manage to retrieve, but we cannot guarantee all will be saved or in usable condition. Remove them beforehand to be safe.)
  7. Outcome Variability and No Guarantee of Perfection: The outcome of paint stripping can vary widely. We do not guarantee that your item will be restored to a like-new appearance. There may be patches of paint that remain in deep carvings, corners, or grain, especially if the item had multiple layers or a very adherent primer . We will make reasonable attempts to remove as much as possible (including scraping out residue), but some paint residue in crevices or stains in the wood may persist and are not grounds for complaint . Additionally, we cannot guarantee uniform color of the wood after stripping – different sections of wood may lighten differently. If the customer’s expectation is a 100% clean surface ready for clear finishing, additional sanding or prep work will likely be needed by the customer or a third party. We do not refund if the item “doesn’t come out as expected” when it falls within normal results of the process (e.g., some paint remnants or darkening) .
  8. Hidden Defects and Pre-Existing Conditions: The stripping process may expose or exacerbate pre-existing conditions in the item. For example, wood decay, rot, previous repairs/filler, burns, or cracks that were hidden by paint may become visible . Old filler (e.g. Polyfilla or caulk used to patch holes) will likely be washed out by the process leaving voids . We are not responsible for any such pre-existing issues coming to light. Similarly, if an item has been previously dipped improperly or has fire damage, those marks might show. These are not caused by our service and we will not be held liable to fix or compensate for them.
  9. Timeframe and Delays: Any time estimates we give for completing the work (or for collection/delivery) are estimates only, based on normal conditions. While most projects (e.g., door stripping) are completed in a few days, unforeseen factors can cause delays – such as especially thick paint requiring multiple treatments, workload fluctuations, or technical issues. We cannot be held liable for needing to extend the lead time, and no discounts or refunds will be given due to extended turnaround times resulting from unforeseen circumstances . We will do our best to inform you if there’s a significant delay beyond the estimate, but the customer should not schedule critical deadlines (e.g., contractors waiting to hang doors) too tightly around the estimated completion time.
  10. Additional Work & Repairs: Our quoted price is for the stripping service (and any explicitly agreed add-ons like collection or extra finishing). If during the process, we find that additional work is required or recommended (for example, an item needs an extra stripping cycle, or special handling due to delicate parts), we will, if possible, seek your consent for any additional charges before proceeding . You have the right to decline additional services, in which case we will stop at the originally agreed scope. However, the original charge will still apply even if the result is imperfect due to you declining further work (e.g., remaining paint that could have been removed with extra labor). If extra work is done (with your approval), it will be billed accordingly. All such “further work” is considered separate from the initial stripping charge and will be itemized. We also reserve the right to refuse to undertake certain extra tasks that are outside our expertise (for instance, structural repairs or extensive carpentry are not part of our service).
  11. No Liability for Subsequent Finishing: Once you have your stripped item, any further treatment you or a third party apply (such as bleaching, staining, painting, sealing, or any other restoration) is outside our control. We offer no warranty on how the wood or metal will accept new finishes. For example, traces of caustic could theoretically remain and affect new paint (though we neutralize thoroughly). It is your responsibility to ensure the item is properly prepared for refinishing. We cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise when you refinish or use the item after stripping.
  12. Overall Limitation of Liability: In summary, we will not be held responsible or liable for any damage, defects, or losses that occur to your items as a result of the agreed stripping process, except in cases of proven negligence on our part. By agreeing to these terms, you accept that there are risks involved with paint stripping and that those risks are borne by you as the item owner . We do not provide monetary compensation for damage or loss to items beyond, at most, refunding the price you paid for our service (and even that is at our discretion and without prejudice). In no event will we be liable for any consequential or indirect losses (such as lost profits, emotional distress, or the cost of a replacement door/furniture) arising from damage to an item. No claims will be entertained for compensation or refund due to outcomes covered by these disclaimers .

Important: Nothing in these terms seeks to limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law. These Terms and Conditions affect only your property (items) and contractual rights. Your statutory rights as a consumer (if applicable) are not affected, except to the extent you have voluntarily accepted the risk and limitations herein.

6. Payment Terms

Pricing: Our pricing for services will either be as per our standard price list or as quoted specifically for your job. All quotes are typically valid for a certain period (e.g., 30 days) and are based on the information you provide about the item (size, condition, number of paint layers, etc.). If upon receiving the item it differs significantly from described (e.g., considerably larger or additional paint layers), we reserve the right to adjust the quote with your agreement before proceeding.

No Deposit (Payment on Completion): We generally do not require any upfront deposit for standard stripping jobs (unless the volume of work is unusually large, in which case a deposit arrangement might be made). Payment in full is due upon completion of the job, meaning once your item has been stripped and is ready for return to you, the balance must be paid. For local customers, payment is typically collected at the time you pick up the item from our workshop or upon delivery back to you (e.g., cash on delivery or immediate bank transfer/mobile payment on delivery). For customers using courier services or where we ship the item back, payment must be received before we dispatch the item for return (we will notify you of completion and provide an invoice so you can pay prior to shipment).

Payment Methods: We accept payment by cash, major credit/debit cards, or bank transfer. (If paying by bank transfer, the payment must clear in our account before item collection or dispatch.) We do not accept personal cheques unless cleared in advance. All prices are in GBP (£). If VAT becomes applicable (e.g., if we become VAT-registered in future), our quotes or prices will specify whether it’s inclusive or plus VAT. Currently, as a small sole trader operation, we are not VAT-registered (so no VAT is charged on our services).

Late Payment / Non-Payment: If you fail to pay upon completion or if a payment method is declined, we reserve the right to retain the item until full payment is made. The ownership of the physical item remains with you, but you agree that we have a lien (a right to hold) on the item for any outstanding charges. If payment is not made promptly, we will contact you for resolution. If an invoice remains unpaid beyond a reasonable time (30 days after completion, absent agreed arrangements), we may begin legal recovery proceedings or ultimately treat the item as abandoned (as detailed in Section 4 on uncollected items), which may result in disposal of the item to recoup costs. Any legal fees or collection costs incurred will be added to the amount due. We also reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the statutory rate (such as 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate) as allowed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act, or otherwise as per applicable law, from the due date until paid.

Completion and Handover: The job is considered “completed” when the stripping process (and any additional agreed services) have been finished and the item is ready for return. Minor staining or residual paint as described in Section 5 does not mean the job is incomplete; completion is judged by industry standards for stripping. We will inform you when your item is ready and issue a final invoice or receipt. Payment at that point signifies your acceptance that the service was rendered. If you have any complaints or issues with the service, these should be raised before or at the time of payment/collection if possible.

7. Cancellations and Refund Policy

No Cancellation After Commencement: Once you have agreed to proceed and we have commenced work on your item, you may not cancel the order without charge. Due to the fast turnaround of our service, work often begins very shortly after we receive an item. If you request a cancellation after work has started, we will be unable to halt the process and you will remain liable for the full cost of the service. In practical terms, this means that after your item is in our possession and the stripping process has begun, no refunds will be issued if you change your mind or cancel the service . We also do not accept cancellations at the point of return/delivery (for example, you cannot refuse to take back your stripped item and refuse payment on the basis that you no longer want it stripped).

If you have scheduled a booking and wish to cancel before we have collected or you have delivered the item (i.e., before any work is done), please inform us as soon as possible. We do not charge a fee for cancellations made in good time before work begins. However, if we have already dispatched a driver for collection and you cancel while collection is in progress or at the doorstep, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee to cover our costs. Any deposit (if one was specifically taken for a large job or special order) would also be non-refundable if you cancel after we have incurred costs or begun work (such as custom chemical orders or commenced stripping).

No Refunds for Completed Services: Because paint stripping is a bespoke service performed on your specific item, we do not offer refunds once the service has been completed, except under extraordinary circumstances or where required by law. In essence, if your item has been stripped as per your request, the service has been rendered and the costs incurred, and we cannot “undo” the labor and chemicals used. Dissatisfaction with the results, where those results are in line with these Terms (e.g., some paint remnants or wood darkening as explained), will not entitle the customer to a refund. We emphasize that many possible undesirable outcomes (stain remains, warping, etc.) are at your risk and have been disclaimed in Section 5, thus a refund will not be given for those reasons. Additionally, we do not refund if you simply change your mind after the fact or decide you no longer want the item stripped.

In the unlikely event that you believe we have not performed the service as agreed (for example, if an item was returned with significant paint remaining that clearly should have been removable, or we stripped the wrong item), please contact us immediately. We will assess on a case-by-case basis. If we find that we did fail to deliver the agreed service or made a mistake, we will first endeavor to correct it (e.g., re-strip the item or address the issue). If a remedy is not possible, a partial refund or other resolution may be offered at our discretion. However, no refund or free re-work will be offered in cases where the outcome is the result of the inherent risks of the process or the nature of the item (for example, wood grain variations, damage due to hidden veneers, etc., as covered in Section 5).

This no-cancellation/no-refund policy is a necessary condition of offering our services, given the irreversible and labor-intensive nature of the process. By proceeding with our service, you acknowledge that you cannot cancel once work starts and that refunds are not provided for completed work , aside from our own errors.

(For consumers: We comply with UK consumer protection laws. Note that “change of mind” cancellations under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (cooling-off period) may not apply to service contracts that have begun with your consent or to bespoke services on goods. If those regulations do apply, you may still be charged for the portion of work completed. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty services.)

8. Miscellaneous Provisions

Damage to Property / Insurance: We have public liability insurance to cover any third-party injuries or property damage caused by our operations (e.g., if our employee accidentally causes a flood or fire on your premises, which is highly unlikely in this line of work). However, when it comes to your own item being worked on, as stated, that item is not covered by our insurance for restoration outcome (it is considered “work in progress” on your property). It is your responsibility to insure your own property/item if you want coverage beyond these terms (for instance, if you have a valuable antique door, consider separate insurance for restoration). By using our service, you agree that any damage to the item itself is subject to the disclaimers above and our limited liability. We will not be liable for any loss of value of the item.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yorkshire Paint Stripping and its owner/staff from any claims or liabilities by third parties arising out of your breach of these terms or misuse of our services. (For example, if you sell the item after stripping and the buyer sues us for some reason that stems from your instructions or representations, you would indemnify us.) This is unlikely, but included for completeness.

Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer residing in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may have the right to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction as well. Any disputes that cannot be amicably resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts (unless a different jurisdiction is required by law for consumer contracts).

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder of the terms will remain fully valid and enforceable.

Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. However, the terms that will apply to your order are those in effect at the time of your booking. We will provide the latest Terms on our website or on request. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically, but we will not materially change terms for an ongoing job without informing you.

Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with any written quote or job-specific agreement we provide, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service of paint stripping and supersede any prior discussions or representations. No other understandings, oral or written, shall apply.

Contact Information: For any questions or communications regarding these terms or our services, please contact Yorkshire Paint Stripping at 31 Alexandra Road, Hull, HU5 2NS, or phone 01482 811412, or email nfo@doorstrippingyorkshire,co.uk.
